The green revolution is being talked about throughout industry, and major corporates are now subject to legislation to ensure that they are carbon efficient and, ultimately, that they have a neutral carbon footprint, with stringent penalties should they fail to offset that footprint. Many other corporate entities, not yet subject to the existing legislation, are already implementing a voluntary corporate strategy in relation to their carbon emissions, in line with their shareholders' and customers' expectations.

ICS Group offers a booking facility via which its clients can opt to make a voluntary contribution to make the relevant journey being booked carbon neutral via an accredited carbon offset scheme. With the ICS Group Eco Service, clients can opt into the scheme and demonstrate a carbon offset for each of the journeys undertaken on their behalf.

Other chauffeur and transport companies do offer a green service to their clients, either by way of the vehicles being used and/or by simply by telling their clients what the carbon footprint of any journey is; they do NOT, however, provide any way of offsetting that carbon footprint.
